Andrew is responsible for Alpha’s business planning, policy, strategic decision making and day to day operations.
As Alpha’s proclaimed “Renaissance Man”, since moving to the company in 2014 he has spearheaded projects including the implementation of new IT systems to improve customer service and business efficiencies, departmental launches and restructures, property acquisitions, marketing and brand redevelopment.
He did not start his career at Alpha with these intentions however; originally employed as Alpha’s first Business Development Advisor he spent much of his time on the road, developing relationships with key stakeholders before being promoted to this position by the Managing Director.
Andrew graduated from the University of the West of England (UWE) in 2008 with an Honours Degree in Accounting & Finance. After a brief venture into financial services working as a Mortgage Advisor Andrew relocated closer to home and began to hone his skills in the training and development services sector.
With almost a decade’s experience in Training and Development, Andrew is extremely knowledgeable in many aspects of the industry and is comfortable in offering advice and guidance to individuals, SME’s and larger organisations relating to personal/organisational development. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the intricacies associated with regulatory training, potential funding avenues and bespoke course development.
When his mind is not on work Andrew enjoys continually failing with DIY projects, dreaming of flying light aircraft, being walked by his 2 incredibly energetic beagles, attempting to play piano/guitar or most likely; relaxing in front of any sport he can find on TV.
