Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome Awareness (HAVS)
Hand-arm vibration comes from the use of hand-held power tools and is the cause of significant ill health (painful and disabling disorders of the blood vessels, nerves and joints).
HAVS is preventable and once the damage is done, it is permanent. Almost 2 million people are at risk across many types of industry.
Damage from HAVS can include the inability to do fine work and cold can trigger painful finger blanching attacks.
The course explains the HSE exposure calculator which will help and support Employers and Employees how to prevent over-exposure before HAVS can become a problem.
This course can also be delivered as an EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) accredited programme where required. If you would like more information, please contact us online or call 01792 585868.
Please note: We currently only offer EUSR accredited qualifications as privately run courses.
