RTITB Lift Truck Instructor Initial/ Novice

COURSE INTRODUCTION

The RTITB accredited Lift Truck Instructor Initial/ Novice course is for experienced lift truck operators, who are looking to take the next step to deliver lift truck operator training.

This course is for any lift truck operator who has not taken any formal training as an instructor before. This course provides interactive guided theory, discussion and practice. By the end of the course each learner will be able to cater for the needs of their learners both in the training room and practical teaching of lift truck operation.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

• Each learner must be able to evidence completion of a Counterbalance fork truck course within 36 months of the course start date. This course must has been conducted by an instructor registered to the following accreditations - AITT, ITSSAR, LANTRA, NPORS or RTITB.


• Each learner must be able to evidence completion of the full eTruck eLearning course within 36 months of the course start date. 


• Have good communication skills, with the confidence to deliver training to others.

COURSE BENEFITS

The RTITB Lift Truck Instructor course will provide experienced operators with the skills and knowledge to become qualified and competent instructors. ASSESSMENT METHOD

Each learner is individually assessed throughout the training delivery. On the final day of delivery, each learner is then assessed externally by a qualified RTITB examiner.
