Course Details
This course covers the importance of safety measures that must be taken when working at height, including the use of harnesses in correlation with other equipment, for example, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs).
This course is designed to ensure students are aware of how to safely use, maintain and inspect their harness equipment, ensuring there safety, equipment suitability and longevity.

This qualification provides an in-depth understanding of harness awareness for all MEWP operators. The awareness element also supports candidates who are not directly involved in the use of a MEWP, however require a further understanding of the risks and requirements involved in harness and lanyard use e.g. managers supevisors and safety professionals.
A candidate can upgrade to the next level up Harness Qualification at any time during the 5 year validity of the existing qualification.
On completion of this course, you will recieve a digital certificate available via the IPAF PAL app.
