RTITB Lift Truck Instructor Initial/ Novice

• Each learner must be able to evidence completion of a Counterbalance fork truck course within 36 months of the course start date. This course must have been conducted by an instructor registered to the following accreditations - AITT, ITSSAR, LANTRA, NPORS or RTITB.
• Each learner must be able to evidence completion of the full eTruck eLearning course within 36 months of the course start date. 
• A desktop computer or laptop with stable internet connection is required for the RTITB eTruck course.
• Have good communication skills, with the confidence to deliver training to others.

• Health & Safety Requirements in accordance to the HASWA 74, LOLER 98 7 PUWER 98
• Instructional techniques theory
• Recommendation of training
• Report writing
• How to conduct a practical skills test

The RTITB Lift Truck Instructor course will provide experienced operators with the skills and knowledge to become qualified and competent instructors. This is ideal for organisations looking to upskill and train internal team members to deliver internal training to the industry leading accredited standards of RTITB, whilst saving on costs.

On successful completion of the course, instructors will also be able to register to the RTITB international register of professional instructors. Each learner is individually assessed throughout the training delivery. On the final day of delivery, each learner is then assessed externally by a qualified RTITB examiner.
